A foreign character traveling to Nightfall should be able to get up to around rank 5 just by doing the primary quests to reach Consulate Docks. It doesn't take much time at all, since non-Elonan characters are given a bit of a jump start to make them at least even with native characters when the mainland is reached.

Is there a reason why I should be running it? I seriously don't understand why people seem to staple it to spirit spam bars. In normal PvE situations where you're likely to face AoE it can be useful to move them out but this doesn't really apply in this situation.

*330 rit requires some practise, i'd recommend to first try it out somewhere a bit easier (not too many foes at the same time)

*for Spirit spammer. for you sake, if not experienced, find someone to do dual UW sprit spam (1 SOGM and 1SoS)

*soloing smites is imo not worth as it takes too long| if you decide to farm them, take spiritleech aura. dual smites is relatively easy

*for planes bring heroes (random heroes will work just fine) DON'T bring painfull bond but instead pack your build with spirits. e.g. sos.bloodsong.vampirism.anguish.disenchantment etc. (no destruction as spectres are casters)

*clear the chamber i would recommend regular sos with painful bond with shadowsong and always try to keep your shadowsong safe, even consider bringing "black powder mine"for aatxes

Black powder mine is trash, Shadow song is much better esp. with spirit leech aura, if u need to recast just recast.

BPM is safer for bigger agros, nearly permanent area blind if used well but only good for the chamber. It works best duo with a Keystone nuker and big pulls ^ ^

Since you are a rit, you can easily get to at least rank 5 or 6 in sunspear in around a half an hour. Simply go to kamadan and do the quest chain leading up to the consulate docks. There's a quest called A Land Of Heroes that gives about 1k points (300 for completion, maybe 700 doing the quest). Those 4 or 5 ranks should help it greatly.

Vanquishing Plains of Jarin once alone will get you rank 6. Incredibly easy as a Spirit Spammer, just need to know the Mandragor pops.

Luring, timing and retreating are all important, but once you get used to it, it's pretty easy. Sometimes I get 4 ectos in 30 minutes but after a lot of runs, it got boring.
